One Last Time

I took her hand quietly in mine
Meek was her touch, so pure, so devine
Her glittery eyes announced the happiness
To witness the imperishable beautiful nature
The woods too echoed silently
For her presence marked the reason to rejoice
How lovingly she accepted them all
As if they were for her and she was for them all
No sooner did I steal a glance to note
An endless stare of ecstasy that flowed
I anxiously squeezed her hand to let her know
Her beautiful heart still conquered mine
She looked at me with contented smile
And breath her last, alas one last time.

Call me Autumn, Call me Fall

When the leaves begin to change colour,
And crispness grips them gradually,
When the days take a shorter route,
And evening starts getting chiller,
When stores flaunt their collection
Of Halloween and those of Fall,
My urge to make a miniature garden
Conquers a corner of my heart,
And here I sit in my balcony
With my precious pots and flowers around
Engrossed in capturing the spectacular beauty
And arranging the little garden around
Call me Autumn, call me Fall,
My miniature garden says it all,
The season of harvest blend with festivity
Where colorful shimmer posses my creativity
Take a look for a while to breathe,
Hop in my garden, gaze the view
Admire the nitty gritty art,
And walk through my dream lane

THE SNOWFLAKES

The snowflakes lovingly stroked my cheeks
While I stood gazing at the snow cladded peaks
Admiring, stunned by the Creator's ravishing master strokes
Happiness soothed my morning mood folks
And caressed me with cool breeze strokes
The chilling numbness made my voice choke
I couldn't feel my feets presence
The blood froze, the feet refused to move hence
Was it a bliss to be numb and freeze
Or a loving gesture of the breeze
I wanted to feel your hand around
Chilling the feel of numbness around
I opened my eyes with great effort
To see that its a dream yet to give comfort
The quest of admiring snow with you beside
Surrender to the sublime beauty and ride
To a place so heavenly and serene
A heaven on earth where I have never been

The Carefree Hold

A loving gesture makes its way through the eyes,

Stroking the little one resting strenuously on her palm

While his anxiety and the frightened moves

Could not let the comfort reach full,

Little was she aware of his fearful beats

Too engrossed in admiring the innocent clutches

Of soft and tender little cuddly rabbit

Wondered what made her gesture so different from mine.

Perhaps the carefree hold of my daughter took over mine.
