Madikeri soothers

The pleasant whistling tune of a jungle bird,
The clapping sound made by another
The synchronisation carried by the drum player
The humming away of insects on their journey to ecstacy
Unaware of the people lodging by
To few they appear extremely pleasant
To other they seem to bother a lot
Yet to some their existence in nothing unusual
Yet, they ritually follow their heart
And sing to sooth, to breathe their melodious notes
A walk through the roads in Madikeri
Where the lush green plants
Soaked in fresh dew drops
Wave at each other exchanging the gentle breeze
Carefree of the happenings around
Enjoying the drizzling and sometimes whistling
Pour their heart for each other
The trees, the birds, the crickets all together
Let me breathe here for a while
Inhale the peace, the fresh fragrance and thoughts for a while.
