The Hand

Hand

I will walk you through the lanes of eternity
Firmly, consciously, yet giving you space
To pace to know the unknown
To explore, to learn and unlearn
The beautiful story of so called life
To soar high facing all rise and fall
In the journey of happiness and sorrow
Yet, so worthy so distinct
Hold your head high and walk
For my hand will always guide and hold
Your hand firmly, consciously, yet giving you space
But remember to stay grounded and grow
Let ego never touch your heart
Let knowledge be your chariot's coach
With all dignity and wisdom you grow
Lovingly said a mother to her child

If and Only if I were a bird

If and only if I were a bird,
With no boundaries to be confined to
Fly to the land full of greenery
Float in a river or an ocean
To an unknown destination yet so pleasant
Soak in the sun, bath in the stream
Rush to take another flight
Slow down to embrace or steal a glance
A tiny worry less step, a smooth take-off
A smooth landing to an uncertain place
To explore a bit, to inhale some more
To breathe a little to love even more
If and only if I were a bird

The Journey

Walking through a quiet hilly road
Slowly yet steadily measuring the steps
My destination unknown on a road
That never ends and tends to bend whenever it wishes
Gazing the shrubs and herbs
Bearing the fruit of happiness
I carefully steal a glance of nature
So not to disturb the natural habitat
Perhaps my thought to pluck
May unintentionally end its life
Oh, how will I be able to contribute
To please everyone, to be a part
Of nature spread
Said the little beautiful flower
Feel my silence, hear the unsaid
Kill the thought of plucking me o human
For I too have a right to live
To  bloom, to breathe and live hereby
